Instructions & Setup Guidelines

CRITICAL SAFETY WARNINGS

This target does NOT stop bullets - always use a proper backstop

Never discharge your firearm with the barrel in contact with the target

Follow all NRA and local range safety guidelines at all times

Wear appropriate eye and ear protection during use

PROHIBITED AMMUNITION Do not shoot with:

Hollow point ammunition

Explosive or incendiary rounds

Shotgun wads or slugs

Armor-piercing ammunition

APPROVED AMMUNITION

Ball/FMJ calibers up to .50 BMG

Pistol calibers: 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, etc. (minimum distance: 7 yards)

Rimfire: .22 LR (minimum distance: 10 yards)

Shotgun shot: Minimum 15 yards (closer distances will cause concentrated impact and large holes)

INSTALLATION

Select a secure target stand or mounting system

Attach target using provided clamps and screws, or your preferred mounting hardware

Ensure target is stable and will not shift during use

Position target in front of an adequate, safe backstop rated for your caliber

MAINTENANCE & TOUCH-UP

Surface paint may be scratched during shipping - this does not affect target performance

Cover bullet holes with spray paint between shooting sessions (primer-based paint works best, any color acceptable)

When painting, keep nose and mouth covered or wear a respirator

Allow paint to dry completely before shooting

DISTANCE GUIDELINES

Pistol calibers: Minimum 7 yards

Rimfire (.22 LR): Minimum 10 yards

Shotgun shot: Minimum 15 yards

Rifle calibers: Minimum 25 yards recommended

IMPORTANT NOTES

Shooting at distances closer than recommended may result in excessive damage

Multiple impacts in the same area will degrade self-healing properties

Replace target when structural integrity is compromised

Inspect target regularly for signs of excessive wear
